CWE Families and Friends grew out of an informal playgroup started for moms and children in the neighborhood. As we’ve continued to meet for almost two years and connected with more and more families, many topics concerning our neighborhood and our families have come up – playgrounds, schools, and safety, just to name a few. We started off as CWE Parents, but have since organized around the name CWE Families and Friends because a neighborhood is more than parents and children. Our vision is to strengthen the connections between families, neighbors, businesses, and community groups in the neighborhood and address our common concerns together.
