Your all new Glow in the Park adventure begins with a secret map.  Held by few and coveted by many, this map reveals the route to the best possible parking for our new location in the Central Field of Forest Park.

You’ll be surrounded by thousands, but only those with the Glow in the Park ticket may take the private path to our tented base camp.

On that path, you’ll be glad you left the fancy duds at home.  Your more casual look prepares you for anything

 that may come your way.

As you approach base camp, you’ll stop, look and listen.

“Where am I?  What are these creatures?”

Friendly but, creatures nonetheless, they direct

you into base camp.

Am I red, yellow or green?

A welcome libation and soothing sounds

allow you time to acclimate.

Mingle, relax—you’ve arrived and the

evening is just beginning.

VIP Excitement-  6 to 7 p.m.- VIP Adventurer Reception hosted by Mayor Francis Slay.  From our base camp, you’ll be escorted to our exclusive VIP compound in the center of the race field.  Get up close with the pilot of the only inflated hot air balloon on the field, while you enjoy champagne and passed hors d’oeuvres.   As one of our VIP’s, you’ll be at the epicenter of the pre-glow action.  Did we mention the ultimate reserved parking?

Great fun and killer photo opp!

Base camp lights dim—it’s to be expected, after all, it is an urban adventure.  From the best possible vantage point, you bask in the awesome glow of the hot air balloons standing as high as 5 stories and each fired by a 24 million BTU burner.

Depleted from the glow experience, you must feast!

Only the best  for you. Indulge in the culinary magic from the unparalleled—Butler’s Pantry Catering.

How can an evening be this good, benefit Central West End Association initiatives and Forest Park and still get you a tax deduction? You’ll want to find the

Glow Committee to give your hearty thanks.

You’d expect dancing and dessert to wind down your evening.  Expect more!  What’s happening in the celebration tent? Amazing.  Does it glow?

As the chatter subsides from your amazement,

the dancing begins.

Yet another surprise follows a live auction of exciting items.   Are you glowing yet? Probably!

When you indulge in decadent desserts, you may not look like you did when you joined base camp.  Maybe St. Louis Magazine and Black Tie photographers

captured your new look.

What, even more fun.

They told you to expect the unexpected at

 the Glow in the Park.

As midnight approaches,

you’ll be processing your new memories.
